This journey is started by by driving through historic Boulder City then on to a stop at the Hoover Dam. As you drive along the Southwest Arizona desert in air conditioned comfort, your driver/guide will give you information about the beautiful 900 year old Joshua Tree Forest and some history of the regions early inhabitants.

Arriving at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon you will enter the Hualapai Indian Reservation. A barbecue lunch prepared by Hualapai Tribe members awaits you and then on to explore this remote part of the Grand Canyon. You will have time to explore the rim of this great wonder of nature as you walk on this unblemished land. The Great Thunderbird image nature created along with many other unusual formations. Before departure time you will have time to see authentic curios and art objects the craftsmen of the reservation have on display. Approximate return time to your hotel is 6:30 p.m.
