The Hoover Dam Mini tour will enable you to see how this magnificent structure was built into the walls of Black Canyon to hold back the Colorado River and to create Lake Mead. There will be 2 hours to discover this “modern engineering wonder of the world.”

There will be plenty of time to take the optional Discovery Tour for $10 payable at the dam. (Children six and under are free.) In addition to lectured presentation by professional guides you will have access to the Exhibit Hall, Visitor’s Center and the indoor and outdoor observation decks and a 25 minute movie of the dam’s original construction.

This tour has morning departures and will last approximately 4 1/2 to 5 hours. (Tour length is subject to the traffic conditions at the dam.)

(Note: On all Hoover Dam tours, due to increased security, no bags, purses, cases, backpacks or fanny packs will be allowed inside the Visitor’s Center. Strollers and wheelchairs are subject to search. Cameras are allowed.)
